Pumpkin Seed Oil, also known as pepita oil, is an oil extracted from the seeds of pumpkins via cold pressing and is commonly used as a supplement and cooking oil due to its unique nutty flavor.
Pumpkin Seed Oil is rich in linoleic acid (a type of Omega 6 fatty acids correlated with heart health) and contains high amounts of antioxidant compounds such as polyphenols and carotenoids which have been associated with many health benefits. Pumpkin Seed Oil is also rich in nutrients including potassium, magnesium, calcium, zinc, and phosphorus.
We recommend a daily dosage of 2 softgels (1000 mg) per day, taken with or without food. While higher dosages can be safely taken if desired we don’t recommend exceeding 4 softgels (2000 mg) per day.
